Hi Guys,

In the process of removing my slam panel (by grinding it in half, it was wrecked) i went through the bonnet release cable and half of the engine look ,ouch!,

I have managed to get a cable but am missing the front engine loom, so does anyone have one..please..

Car is a 2003 CJ facelift Model

Thanks

Failing that someone may be able to confirm wheter the bay looms are different. Engine looms definitely changed but the front body loom might be the same.

Dan, Changed from what model/car to this CJ? , Would a different model have the same loom, ie Lancer?

I know there are two generations of so called 'facelifts'. They changed in 98 and again I think in 02. Because yours is literally one of the last cjs to be made I think your going to struggle to find a second face lift one. A one from a lancer should be good but not the evo model as some of the pins are different for the interior.

By all means mate if you can source a cheap cj one go for it. No one has said that the front body looms are different on the later ones only the engine loom is a definite. There is no real reason for mitsi to manufacture a new loom as it only supplies the aircon, lights etc

Please find me a loom, if not I'll be resolved to spending a day pulling the old one back and re-soldering all 50 leads.. i'm sure none of you want that...do you...

All you have to do is search on ebay 'mitsubishi colt breaking' then email the people asking them if they have the parts and away you go

I had an engine loom for a 2002 although i've since used the ecu plugs from it so it's probably no good to you unless you need it only for the plugs.

Young man, of course. but when you're in a panic state, you forget the obvious, thx, i'll let you know if they have one.

Dom, hi, it might be easier splicing my connectors onto your conectorless loom, easier than trying to fix the leads in the middle. i'll be in touch want any thing for it?

Cheers

Only want enough to cover the postage mate, let me know if you're after it and I'll check it to make sure it's still in good nick apart from the ECU plugs.
